Public Safety Notice: Camera Systems in Use
La Cresta Homeowners Association utilizes a Flock Safety automated license plate reader (LPR) camera at the entrance to enhance neighborhood security and deter criminal activity. These cameras capture objective, public data—such as license plates and vehicle characteristics—which is fully encrypted and automatically deleted after 30 days unless required for an active investigation. This system is available to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) to assist them in solving and preventing local crimes. This data is used strictly for public safety and is never used for personal tracking, traffic enforcement, or facial recognition.
